CTPAT Membership: More Importers are Joining, But Is It Right For You?
Shortly after the events of 9-11, seven founding members formed the Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) – a voluntary supply chain security program led by U.S. Customs and Border Patrol. Since that time, the number of importers participating in the program has ballooned to 4,300, with total members close to 11,000.
