Happening Now: Import surge may last into 2022

As 2021 has had its share of supply chain challenges – particularly related to container imports – we all are looking for the light at the end of the tunnel and a semblance of normalcy.

However, according the executive director of the Georgia Ports Authority as quoted in Supply Chain Brain, that normalcy may not return until well into 2022. The reason is that many companies continue to face inventory challenges that simply aren’t letting up.
