Happening Now: Shift of Cargo to West Coast Gains Momentum

According to Supply Chain Dive, Port of Los Angeles Executive Director Gene Seroka recently estimated that 2%-5% of shippers’ cargo has moved back from the East Coast to the West Coast. More cargo is expected to follow, especially if East and Gulf Coast port labor negotiations break down over the summer.
